The East-West Centre for Business Studies and Cultural Science is a research centre at Frankfurt School that focuses on the analysis of innovation and change in the global economy, with special reference to Eurasia, which is emerging as a powerhouse of the world economy in the 21st century. ECBC research integrates qualitative and quantitative methods, economics, the social sciences and the humanities, as well as historical and contemporary perspectives. The ECBC collaborates with leading research institutes in the Eurasian region, especially Russia and China.
