Main goals and objectives:

  • Deliver full commercial training syllabus to China Mainland/HK/MC retail body
  • Ensure consistent presentation of the brand and Bentley strategy to the Dealer Network
  • Identify training and development needs of the market and propose solution and advancements to ensure the needs of the market are fully met by Central program development

Key tasks and responsibilities:


Deliver training, coaching and other people development in line with Central syllabus and Bentley Training Academy strategy

  • Recognise and integrate best practise in learning and organisational development
  • Deliver a Bentley people development ‘experience’ in-line with the Academy stratey

Create proposals to meet dealer needs not met by central plans. Creating regional delivery or central development as appropriate

  • Lead the training for the region, including management of commercial training and third party resources
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and prioritise the dealer staff development needs to delivery Bentley’s wider business objectives
  • Create a differentiated and prioritised plan of learning interventions to address the identified needs, working time/quality and cost parameters
  • Ensuring appropriate KPIs and audits are in place to demonstrate impact and areas for future focus, input into the Academy’s global balance scorecard

Design training projects to realize the regional Dealer development plans

  • Work with Bentley Academy, cross functionally and with suppliers
  • Find the most efficient, effective and timely means to support the regional plans

Support and faciliate Dealer Workshops as appropriate in Regional Development sessions

  • Use teaching and facilitation skills to support dealer and BMC workshops to develop talent and skills across the broader team
  • Use network relationships to promote dealer engagement and involent acrosss the business    

Qualification and skills:

  • 6-7 years relevant experience of coaching, training or similar is essential; with 2-3 years project management & consultancy skills desirable.
  • Evidence of working with teams and individuals in one-to-one and group situations; highly effective communications skills and proven stakeholder management capability are pre-requisites.
  • Experience of working with Dealers, working cross-culturally
  • Excellent English skills
