The beginnings of Dilo Maschinenfabrik date back to the year 1902.

Today the DiloGroup is made up of the following companies:

• Temafa Maschinenfabrik GmbH, a worldwide renowned producer of machinery for the opening and blending of natural and synthetic fibres.
• Spinnbau GmbH at Bremen, specialized in the manufacturing of cards and web-forming machines,
• Oskar Dilo Maschinenfabrik KG at Eberbach focusing on crosslappers and needle looms and
• Dilo Systems GmbH offering complete lines for the production of nonwovens.

Dilo is the leading machine building company for needle felting technology and renown for numerous innovations and inventions in this sector. When selling its special machinery and installations, Dilo relies on more than 60 agents and on own branches in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, Moscow, Russia, Shanghai, China and Istanbul, Turkey. We export about 90 % of our machinery.

We deliver worldwide installations for the production of nonwovens which are used in the following applications:  automotive interior linings, filter media, geotextiles, artificial leather, isolation and insulation, roofing material, wipes, interlinings for the apparel industry, medical and hygienic nonwovens, paper machine felts and many other technical textiles.
