Since the MAHLE Group extended its reach to China for the first time with the foundation of today's MAHLE Engine Components (Yingkou) Co., Ltd. in 1999, we have established 21 entities in 15 cities in China, supplying innovative solutions and products for automotive and industrial applications.
MAHLE Technologies Holding (China) Co., Ltd (a.k.a. MTC) was established in Shanghai in April, 2006, and expanded twice in 2012 and 2014 respectively. The campus covers a total area of over 65,000 m2, including a number of state-of-the-art labs and test benches, a production site of over 15,000 m2, and offices that can seat 800 employees. As the regional headquarters and the technical center, MTC provides services to other MAHLE operations in China in the areas of:
